Board of Directors Nominees

The four nominees for the three opening Board of Director positions are: Vicki Ainslie, Kimberly Amos, April Gabor, and Chad Greer.  A BIG Thanks to these folks for volunteering to run.  Pictures and a short introduction for each nominee will be made available before the voting period which begins on Monday August 24 and goes through Labor Day, Monday September 7.  Tuesday September 2.  The new Board members will officially take office during the Annual Meeting, Monday, September 14.

Poolsharks Fundraiser TAPS Growler Reminder

In April we publicized the Swim Team fundraiser which offered the insulated stainless steel growlers from TAPS for $35.00.  There are still several growlers at TAPS waiting to be picked up.  Go to TAPS and pick up your growler and while you’re at it, get it filled with your favorite brew.  TAPS has a wide and eclectic selection of craft beer and is offering a 10% discount off refills to all VPCA members.    TAPS is located at 1248 Clairmont Road.  Contact annhesskamp@me.com with any questions.
