Late Dues Deadline Tomorrow, April 1

It’s no joke.  Late dues, with an additional $100 late fee, must be postmarked by tomorrow, April 1.    

 

If you wish to redeem your membership, please mail your Membership certificate to: VPCA Membership, 1182 Oakdale Rd., Atlanta, GA  30307.  If eligible for a redemption check, your check will be mailed within 3-4 weeks after receipt. 

eSplash Weirdness

The 3.26.2013 eSplash did not make it to all the e-mail addresses on the distribution list for some unknown reason.  Hopefully it was a one-time glitch and everyone will get this.  The following announcements were in the last eSplash. 

No Spring Extended Lap Swim

There will be no Spring Extended Lap Swim this year.  At least 25 people were needed in order to have this program, and only 12 people expressed interest.

Wanted: Snack Bar Manager

Looking for a part-time job this summer? Managing the Venetian Pools Snack Bar may be the job for you.  Responsibilities include: choosing the food items carried and stocking them (creativity, in addition to having the classic ice cream treats and ring pops, is encouraged), making the work schedule, keeping the Snack Bar budget, and managing the cash.  This is an hourly/bonus based position.  Submit your resume to Michele Hicks, events@venetianpools.org by tomorrow, April 1. Will You Be the Swim-a-Thon Chair?

For the past two years, Venetian Pools has hosted a Swim-a-Thon to benefit CURE Childhood Cancer.  Last year we raised $6200 for this worthy cause.  Will you consider chairing the 2013 Swim-a-Thon?  Beth Athanassiades, the previous chair, and lots of volunteers will be there to help.  Contact John Dean, activities@venetianpools.org , to sign up.
