Car Break-In – Upper Parking Lot

Last night (Tuesday) sometime between 5:30 and 6:00 pm, a car in the upper parking lot was broken into with a screwdriver prying the window until it broke.  It appears that the robber was interested in the plugged-in charger and reached under the seat to where it was snaked.  No device was attached but a purse was under the seat and was taken.

The officer stressed to not leave a charger in the car.  It leads the thief to believe there is a chance a device is hidden in the car.

PLEASE do not leave valuables in your car in the parking lot.
