Board Meeting on Monday, 1/14

The Venetian Pools Board will meet this Monday, January 14, at 7 p.m. at 487 Burlington Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30307.  The agenda will include dues and budget planning for 2013.  Any member may attend.  The December meeting minutes and financial statements are found on the Members Only portion of the Venetian Pools website, http://venetianpools.org

Final Count for CURE Swim-a-thon

The count is final.  The Venetian Pools Swim-a-thon raised a total of $6200 for CURE.  Way to go, everyone!

Pool Renovation Updates

The pool renovation continues.  The picture shows a test section demonstrating how the new gutter system will look.  Currently the concrete is being cut for the new gutter assembly.  The gutters will then be cleaned, and thermoseal will be applied to the inside of the gutters.  Finally, the gutter assembly will be put into place.  Also on the renovation checklist is grouting of the tile adjacent to the gutters, re-pouring of the pool deck, fixing the surge tank, and re-plastering and tiling.  With this weather being tolerable, things are staying on schedule.
