The End is Near
It’s sad, but the end of the Venetian summer season is near. It ends at 9 p.m. this Monday, Labor Day, September 3. The following weekend, September 8 and 9, is a bonus weekend, with the pool being open to all members from noon – 9 p.m. that Saturday and Sunday. Just have to get a few more laps in under the blue sky? See below for the Fall Extended Swim details.
Last Chance to Vote!!!
As of last Sunday evening, about 125 votes had been cast. There are 500 memberships, so for all of you last minute folks (yea, I’m one of them…)—this is the time to submit your ballots. Let’s see if we can do it. Let’s get a quorum vote of the membership! It’s too late to put your ballot in the mail; those must be received by tomorrow, September 1. But you have until 9 p.m. this Monday, September 3, to vote on-line or put your paper ballot in the locked ballot box at the front desk at the pool. For instructions on changing your vote before the deadline, please see the Voting FAQs.
At the pool—blank paper ballots are at the front desk. Hit reply to this eSplash if they have run out and we’ll get you more. The Board of Director nominee statements and pictures, Amendment 11, Amendment 12, the voting instructions, and FAQs regarding voting are posted on the pool entrance bulletin board.
On-line at http://venetianpools.org –you must log in to vote. Contact Sophia at email@example.com for your username and a temporary password to access the Member Only portion, if needed. The ballot is at the bottom of your User Profile. Be sure to click on Update to save your vote. Links to The Board of Director nominee statements and pictures, Amendment 11, Amendment 12, the voting instructions, and FAQs regarding voting are found under “Voting Matters” of the Members Only portion of the Venetian website: http://venetianpools.org The link to download a paper ballot is found under “Voting Matters” on the website.
